Project Information (March 2023)
Clarence City Council has prepared a draft master plan for the Cambridge Memorial Oval and the surrounding areas.
Council has developed the draft Cambridge Oval Master Plan in cooperation with Cambridge Primary School and the Department of Education, Children and Young People (DECYP). It provides a vision for the redevelopment of the Cambridge Memorial Oval and the surrounding area to provide new and upgraded soccer and cricket facilities, recreation facilities and a new sports pavilion. The plan also provides for shared facilities, including an indoor gymnasium and outdoor multi-use hard court for use by both Cambridge Primary School and the wider community.
The plans for the Cambridge Primary School redevelopment and the draft Cambridge Oval Master Plan are designed to work together for the benefit of both the school and also the wider community. You can find out more about the proposed Cambridge Primary School Major Redevelopment, here. Works on Cambridge Memorial Oval envisaged in the draft Cambride Oval Master Plan form part of Stage 2 of the proposed Primary School Redevelopment.
